HAVE YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO BE A WRITER?
When I was young, I loved writing in school. We got to pick 10 of the 20 spelling words and write stories with them every week. It was my favorite assignment. My love of writing has continued to grow as I've gotten older.


WILL YOU ALWAYS WRITE SCARY STORIES?
That's funny. No, I won't always write scary stories. In fact, I didn't start writing them. I love them and it happened. However, I do want to write other genres, specifically romantic suspense or thriller. Maybe even some more regencies. 


DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE AGE RANGE TO WRITE FOR?
Honestly, I don't have a favorite age range to write for. I love writing middle grade stories. I love writing young adult and adult. All for different reasons. I believe stories are important at any age, and they are fun to write.


DO YOUR BOOKS NEED TO BE READ IN ANY CERTAIN ORDER?
The series do need to be read in the order they were published (they are in order on the book page.) However, no, each series or stand-alone doesn't need to be read in a certain order.


WHAT IS YOUR FIRST PUBLISHED BOOK?
My first published book came out in 2012! It was called CROSSING THE DEEP and it was a young adult novel. It has recently been given back to me (the rights) and will be re-published soon.

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE CHARACTER?
I shouldn't... I really shouldn't. I do love all my characters and all my books... however, Hart from Heartless has my Heart (no pun intended). If you only read Heartless, you won't get it. But his story arc is one of the best I've written (IMO). If you read the entire series, I think you'll understand why I love him so much. He has a little fan club.
